Under the stewardship of its Founder and President, Sharon Moore Bode, the company’s adherence to classic proven manufacturing techniques and its unorthodox global approach to blending of tobaccos has had a profound effect on other manufacturers, and helped raise the standards by which many others currently operate.
An integral part of the initial setting of the company’s foundation we humbly credit to Mr. Luis Santana – Master Cigar Maker, formerly of H.Upmann, Habana Cuba. His dream, to promote the Classic Art of Cigar Making outside of his homeland would finally be realized in 1990 when joining the Moore & Bode Factory. Mr. Santana shared his invaluable knowledge of the art of cigar crafting, confident that the principals of Moore & Bode Cigars, Inc. would ensure the continuance and enhance this fine work.
For its current production the company sources tobacco varieties from regions across the globe delivering an attractive and complex range of character to the consumer.
